The Western FSU is committed to primary care sustainability. A vital component of such is building the primary care workforce across our geography. We are actively engaged with local universities and colleges and oversee a number of initiatives including: Advanced Nurse Practitioner & General Practice Nurse training schemes, GP mentoring & orientation, Western area locum list, Employment assistance & Admin induction programme – please see below and within our Projects pages for more details.
